Description Learning goals: Become familiar with a visible spectrophotometer; Use a simulated spectrophotometer to find λ_max; Use a simulated spectrophotometer to generate concentration-absorbance data; Plot concentration-absorbance data to create a standard curve; Use the standard curve to solve unknowns. A report is included; students are expected to record results in a lab notebook which is also graded.
